New Season...New News!

I've added a new design to the line-up. Introducing the Wooly Satchel...

This is the size I use every day. It'd make a nice, new home for an iPad, but I like to store make-up, my wallets (I never said I was organized!), sunglasses, regular glasses, chap stick, keys, my tiny note-taking journal, cell phone, cell phone charger....AND a bag of nuts.

It's a unisex bag, and unsurprisingly at least half of the sales have been to men searching for that elusive, handy "MAN BAG". I've got a handful in the shop so far.
What? You're in Seattle and you'd like to see one in person? You're in luck! The Wooly Bison arsenal is now available in the international district at Kobo in Higo. I was pleased to have a trunk show there over the holidays, as it gave me a chance to get quite a few items checked off my list. Highly recommended shop. Oil-Tanned Leather + Waxed Canvas Love

Raindrops keep falling on my bag...but it's no problem! I've been fiddling around with different types of leather for the past few weeks, and I think I found something really, really special. Oil-tanned leather, where have I been? Notice my simulated "rain drops"? The leather is infused and tanned with oils that condition it all the way through. It's rich, supple, and most importantly can handle rain. LOTS of rain. Very important here in the Pacific Northwest! I found this large piece in a beautiful, nutty brown. Normally I like to buy very small remnant pieces, but it was time to invest. This one hide is enough to last the year! It's going to be everywhere....

Batten Down The Hatches

Well, the back to school rush has settled down a bit. Now it's time to get stuff ready for the HOLIDAYS! Normally I travel to San Francisco and Portland for their mega-shows, but this year I'm only doing one big whopper here in Seattle (Urban Craft Uprising, yeah!) December 1st & 2nd. Instead, I'd like to have more ready-to-ship guys. You know, NO WAITING!
This is really my favorite part of the job...designing. Time to freshen up the shop! I'll have lots of manly herringbones, tweeds and neutrals galore, but I like to get a little crazy, too.... I LOVE this tribal print in the foreground. You'll be seeing more of it very soon. Check back often, as I'll be adding new backpacks, satchels and messengers weekly starting in October. Are YOU ready?

Le Petite Messenger

I took everything handy about the waxed canvas messenger....and SHRUNK them down!



This guy comes in at a manageable 11 x 8 x 4 1/2". Great as a "man bag", and works well for us small-framed ladies as a messenger. The flap is extra wide to allow the rain to roll right off. I'm cutting out a few more of these this afternoon. I'll have to wait for a more inviting day to model...

Back to work!
